We need three more team captains and tons more volunteers.

We need volunteers for:

• Paint Team: Capt. Snoopy Sutton, to paint the playground equipment

• Plant Team: Capt. Diane Pitcock (and the Master Gardeners), to help with planting along the Rail Trail and Middle Island Creek Banks

• Clean-up Team: Capt. Paul Martin, to pick up Trash and Flood detritus

• Entertainment Team: Capt. Betty Curtis, who is planning games for kids!

and Last, but not Least - the Eating Team!!  Everyone bring a dessert to share -

Sodas and water will be provided along with trash bags and gloves.  (No, we will not eat the trash bags and gloves<G>)

Trash bags, gloves, a dump truck for the day, and disposal fees are being provided by 2008 WV Make it Shine Statewide Cleanup, sponsored by REAP initiative within the Department of Environmental Protection and Division of Highways. 

 Let’s all make it a Fun Day and get the playground fit for our kids and the Rail Trail Walkers!!!!
