Presidential Candidate Gene Zarwell will be at the Doddridge County Republican Executive Committee's Ox Roast on Saturday, October 20, 2007.
Mr. Zarwell is an entrepreneur and businessman. He presents 36 years of business experience, 20 years of political experience, and 34 years of military experience. His work experience includes under-contract coordination, or employment with many governmental agencies. Some of these include: The White House, Department of Defense; Department of State; Department of Commerce; Department of Education; Department of Veterans Reserve; Federal Aviation Administration; Federal Trade Commission; International Trade Commission; and the United States Supreme Court. He is neither an attorney nor a current or former member of Congress. Mr. Zarwell is globally involved in business, holds strong moral values, respects individuals, and property rights. He was the first candidate to file in our state.

The Doddridge County Republican Executive Committee is honored that Mr. Zarwell chose our county to announce his candidacy. We hope that Doddridge Countians will support our Ox Roast. This very special event will be held at the Doddridge County Park. The social hour begins at 6:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. The cost of the tickets is $15.00 for adults and $7.50 for children ages twelve and under.
It is important that all tickets be purchased on or before October 16, as we must give the 4-H Leaders Association an accurate count to prepare for. The proceeds from this dinner support local Republican candidates and the Doddridge County 4-H Leaders Association with sending local children to the annual summer camp. We are anticipating a large turnout. Media from over the state have been contacted. Tickets may not be available at the door.
